Cranberry Sangria

We may not be able to venture out for a good time so we’re keeping it housebound until restrictions ease up. Enjoy this festive Cranberry Sangria and keep the winter blues away, responsibly.

Cranberry syrup

Ingredients Needed

Amount Ingredient
3 Cups Frozen/fresh cranberries
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Water
2 Pieces Orange peel
1 Sprig Rosemary
2 Star Anise

Directions

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce the heat and let it simmer until the cranberries are soft and the mixture has reduced slightly (10 minutes).
  3. Remove from the heat and strain through a sieve, pushing down on the cranberries with the back of a spoon to get out all the juice. Set the syrup aside to completely cool.

Cranberry Sangria

Amount Ingredient
- Cranberry Syrup
1 Bottle Prosecco
2-3 Cups Soda water/club soda
- Fresh rosemary
- Orange slices

Directions

  1. Fill a large jug with ice and pour over the cranberry syrup.
  2. Add the orange slices and rosemary then top with the Prosecco and soda water. Cheers to a wonderful weekend ahead!
