Triple Sec Coffee and Orange Cream

Triple Sec Coffee And Orange Cream

Triple Sec Coffee and Orange Cream

Once you’ve ascended into your adult years, orange undertones signify a mature taste pallet (and suddenly those orange Quality Streets have won you over) and, naturally, Triple Sec is your new best friend. Here’s how to marry it with a warm beverage and cap off any winter meal perfectly.

Ingredients Needed

Amount Ingredient
2 1/2 tbsp Freshly ground coffee
750ml Boiling water
80ml Thick cream
1 tsp Finely grated orange rind
30ml Butlers Triple Sec

Method

  1. Place ground coffee in the base of a 1L (4 cups) capacity coffee plunger. Add boiling water and set aside for 3-4 minutes to brew. Slowly push down the plunger.
  2. Whisk the cream and orange rind in a small bowl until soft peaks form. Divide the Triple Sec between 2 warmed 500ml Consol Preserve Jars – you can do this by pouring warm water into the jars and let them sit for a minute before emptying them and filling them with your hot drink. Top with coffee and spoon over the cream mixture. Add extra orange rind to serve, yum!
